gossips have a higher chance to adversely affect you— by simply gossiping about you or those you care about. A hypocrite only affects you if you let them.I can definitely see your point. Associating yourself with someone who gossips could possibly harm your reputation among others, and even influence you as well. It’s just hard to deal with all the negative energy from someone who is super hypocritical. So all in all, they’re both bad! But there’s a little bit in everyone, hah.
